KEOS primarily serves residents of the Brazos Valley in general, specifically the Bryan/College Station area. With its eclectic and community-based programming, KEOS serves the underserved through a variety of alternative music, news, and information. Recently, KEOS has begun streaming, which means the station's listenership has expanded to include anyone in the world with an sufficient internet connection. In addition to gaining new listeners through streaming, KEOS is able to provide former residents of the Brazos Valley a way to connect with the local community.

Why does this Charity Deserve to be Chosen?:

KEOS is the only all-volunteer, non-profit, community radio station in our area. KEOS maintains an "open door" policy. Everyone can participate, whether on the air or behind the scenes. In addition to providing a variety of locally produced music programs, KEOS assists our community by airing community public service announcements, producing "talk" radio programming focused on local interests, and promoting local musicians and songwriters via live in-studio broadcasts. KEOS also promotes the local economy and local arts by broadcasting live from downtown Bryan during monthly First Fridays. Finally, KEOS airs a variety of syndicated programs that provide the local community with alternative viewpoints.
