We have programs that engage local volunteers to take greater responsibility for litter prevention and cleanup, recycling, waste minimization, and all forms of beautification and community improvement. KBB feels that by that these actions contribute to the economic vitality, safety, health and well being of our community. Keep Brazos Beautiful works to create strategic partnerships with governmental, business and civic groups and citizens to help them take positive action to improve the general environment of Brazos County. These ongoing programs strive to create litter and graffiti-free communities, alive with beautiful flowering crape myrtles and wildflowers, stately memorial trees, delightfully landscaped city entryways, parks and roadways, inspiring public art and murals, and sustainable neighborhood revitalization.

Our programs center on educating and building partnerships and volunteer opportunities with citizens, civic organizations, businesses, and governmental agencies, to eliminate litter, minimize waste, recycle, and improve our community's appearance with the natural beauty of trees, flowers, landscaping, and green spaces. Keep Brazos Beautiful has received numerous awards and accolades for their dedication to the community. Most recently they received the Downtown Bryan - Mayor's Impact Award for their committment to beautifying and improving the life of downtown Bryan and it's surroundings. Also in 2011 & 2012 Keep Brazos Beauitful was recognized by Keep Texas Beautiful as a Gold Star Affiliate. KBB is one of only 52 communities to be selected for his honor."

KEOS primarily serves residents of the Brazos Valley in general, specifically the Bryan/College Station area. With its eclectic and community-based programming, KEOS serves the underserved through a variety of alternative music, news, and information. Recently, KEOS has begun streaming, which means the station's listenership has expanded to include anyone in the world with an sufficient internet connection. In addition to gaining new listeners through streaming, KEOS is able to provide former residents of the Brazos Valley a way to connect with the local community.

KEOS is the only all-volunteer, non-profit, community radio station in our area. KEOS maintains an "open door" policy. Everyone can participate, whether on the air or behind the scenes. In addition to providing a variety of locally produced music programs, KEOS assists our community by airing community public service announcements, producing "talk" radio programming focused on local interests, and promoting local musicians and songwriters via live in-studio broadcasts. KEOS also promotes the local economy and local arts by broadcasting live from downtown Bryan during monthly First Fridays. Finally, KEOS airs a variety of syndicated programs that provide the local community with alternative viewpoints.
